At the end of iPhone6 and Apple Watch launch, there was a musical cameo by U2.More than 500 million users with an iTunes account gets U2’s latest album “Songs of Innocence” for free that Apple announced on the event. The album is available in iTunes store, but finding the album to download can be a bit tricky if you don’t have any idea where to find.

Download U2 album from iTunes on desktop:
At first, you need to open up iTunes and sign in to iTunes account with your Apple ID. Then, go to the Store. The best way to claim the album is to click on the U2 banner in the rotating carousel at the top of the screen.
However, if you are unable to see this option, here’s the alternate method;
Click on Purchased which you will get under “Quick links” on the right hand side of the screen. The next screen you see should look like the one below, otherwise select the Albums tab. Next click the cloud icon to start the download.
Download U2 album on iPhone and iOS devices:
You need to open the Music app and find “Songs of Innocence” on your iOS device. Then go to Artists and look under for U2, or press More and search under Albums for the title.
After getting the album tap on the album title and press the cloud icon to give a start to download to your device. The other way to get the album when you open the iTunes Store and look under Purchased items. The release does seem to be staggered across Apple IDs, so if you can’t download it yet, keep checking back.
