How To Create Halftone Dots and Linear Light effect in Photoshop

If you are using Adobe Photoshop then here is a new tutorial for you.In this tutorial I will tell you how to create a fantastic   halftone dots and linear light effect on a photo within a few minutes.

Let’s have a look on the following steps:

Step-1:First of all you need to open the photo on which you want to give the halftone sots and linear light effect.

step1Step-2:Now duplicate the image to another layer and give label to layers as “Original” and “Halftone Layer”.Now select the Halftone layer by moving it to the top of the layers window.

step2Step-3:You need to set the foreground color is white and  background color is black.Selecting the Halftone Layer  go to Filter > Sketch > Halftone Pattern from the menu bar.Use this setting on  the image below or play around some. Click “OK” when you are done with it.

step31After applying the setting on the image it will look like the image below,

step3Step-4: Now invert the halftone. On a PC hold down your Control Button and press I.If you are using iOS devices then use the Command key and press I.

step4Step-5: Now change its mode from “Normal” to “Linear Light” by selecting the layer. You also have the option to  decrease the transparency if you want.That depends upon you.

step5Step-6:Now you are done with your image giving it linear light halftone dot effect within just five minutes.Ain’t it easy?Yes,it is easy and time saving procedure.Hope it will help you in all your projects.
